In this assignment you will practice quoting from an article verbatim [word for word], paraphrasing article content in your own words, and summarizing. Use West Guide pages 319-323 to help you.

1. Give an example of an exact quote from one of our assigned articles, as if you were quoting it in an essay. Make sure to include the author you are quoting.

2. Give an example of a paraphrase from one of our assigned articles, as if you were paraphrasing it in an essay.
